About the role

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a position in Auburn, New York. This is a travel assignment with a shift of 12 hours during the day (5X8 days) and a flexible start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on various body parts, including:
  • Abdomen and Pelvis (with and/or without contrast)
  • Chest (with and/or without contrast)
  • Head and Neck (with and/or without contrast)
  • Spine and Musculoskeletal (Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic, Musculoskeletal trauma)
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs
• Demonstrate age-specific competency for Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, and Older Adult patients
• Follow isolation precautions and use PPE
• Work in adult acute care and outpatient settings
• Operate equipment from GE PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba

Requirements

• Active New York State license (facility will assist with obtaining NYS Injection Certification upon arrival)
• Active BLS Certification
• Recent, hands-on CT experience
• All required certifications must be active at the time of submission
• Completion of all facility-required compliance items, including CEUs and pre-start training modules, prior to the start date (uncompensated and non-reimbursable)
• All compliance items must be fully completed by Tuesday at noon the week prior to the start date
