Travel CT Technologist - $2,955 per week
About the Role
The hospital in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift position. This role involves performing computed tomography procedures according to department and facility policies, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. The position supports the medical imaging team by providing accurate and timely imaging services to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Performs prescribed CT procedures following referring providers' orders, verifies accuracy, and ensures optimal care delivery.
- Educates patients and families regarding procedures and/or treatments.
- Produces high-quality images and maintains documentation.
- Ensures safety standards are met and maintains confidentiality.
- Demonstrates competence in performing invasive or interventional procedures as applicable.
- Responsible for equipment quality control, troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Adheres to safety policies and ensures efficient workflow.
- Maintains adequate supplies.
Requirements
- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- National Certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CNMT)).
- State Licensure required for Arizona, Wyoming, Nevada; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire (not required in Colorado).
- Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(CT)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CT)).
- BLS certification required.
- Two years of clinical experience typically required.
- Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, and the ability to analyze data and solve problems.
Schedule
- Day shift, 10 hours per day.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Start Date: 09/08/2026.
