Requirements

• At least 18 months of experience as a CT Technologist in a health‑care setting
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
• State licensure where required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes
• Position patients using immobilization and protective equipment as needed
• Set and adjust equipment controls while monitoring both equipment and patient
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast when applicable
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Assist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate images in exposure sequence, and label appropriately
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform limited clerical functions
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
• Provide quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain a patient‑focused, timely, and compassionate care environment
• Promote and uphold a safe work environment, adhering to national patient safety initiatives
