About the role
Must have CT experience in an acute care setting. This position will perform X-rays, CT scans, and work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering)
- Conduct abdomen scans without and/or with contrast
- Provide adult acute care and adult outpatient services
- Perform aspirations and biopsies
- Conduct brain perfusion studies
- Perform carotid, cervical, and chest scans without and/or with contrast
- Conduct colonography or virtual colonography
- Perform colorectal studies (rectal contrast)
- Conduct coronary CTA and CT arthrography
- Perform drainage procedures
- Provide emergency department services
- Conduct enterography studies
- Operate GE equipment
- Perform head scans without and/or with contrast
- Provide ICU care
- Conduct intravenous pyelogram
- Follow isolation precautions/PPE protocols
- Perform lumbar scans
- Conduct multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
- Handle musculoskeletal trauma
- Perform myelography
- Use PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
- Provide pediatric acute care and pediatric outpatient services
- Perform pelvis scans without and/or with contrast
- Prepare and/or administer contrast media
- Ensure radiation safety
- Perform region of interest measurement (ROI)
- Conduct sinus scans
- Perform soft tissue neck scans
- Start peripheral IVs
- Perform thoracic scans
- Conduct trauma head scans
- Perform vascular chest scans (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
- Conduct vascular CTA
- Perform venipuncture
Requirements
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT - Radiography (American Register of Radiologic Technologists)
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy (CRT fluoro license)
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire
- 2 years of experience
Shift Details
5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30 or 09:30 - 18:00), rotating weekends.

Pay
- Base Bill Rate: $101.37
- Overtime Multiplier: 1.5 (for 60 total hours in 1 week)
- Charge Nurse: $5 additional
- On Call: $7
- Call Back Multiplier: 1.35
- Holiday Multiplier: 1.25
- Non-Billable Orientation: 16 hours
