Travel CT Technologist - $2,866 per week
About the Role
American Traveler is hiring a CT & X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lamar, Colorado. This role requires active CT registration and ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification.
Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-Ray examinations. Weekend night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No call requirements. 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-Ray examinations using proper technical factors and evaluate images for accurate exposure and positioning.
- Schedule exams and instruct patients on exam preparation.
- Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures.
- Report directly to the Imaging Services Manager.
- Use independent judgment and technical skill to produce diagnostic-quality radiography.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Adapt to emergency situations and changing work conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Active state license (if applicable).
- Currently registered in CT.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with ARRT registry.
- Ability to lift and move patients and maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or more.
- Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment.
- Visual and hearing acuity required for patient monitoring and communication.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting September 18, 2026.
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
