About the role

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a position in Newton, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Accurately document patient information and images in the medical record.
• Adhere to radiation dose guidelines to minimize patient exposure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide clinical reports.

Requirements

• Current state-issued license as a CT Technologist.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related technology.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited CT technologist program.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Good interpersonal skills.
