About the role
- Shift: 10 hours, days (4x10s Monday–Thursday OR 3x12s Friday–Sunday)
- Daily caseload: 40 patients

- Floating: potential but unlikely
- Local candidates: not accepted (75-mile radius rule)
- Pending state license: accepted
- Return-to-work restrictions: 7 total days in 13-week assignment
- COVID-19 vaccine: not required
- Flu vaccine: required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans including general, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, and vascular studies
- Operate PACS and GE equipment
- Utilize 3D rendering techniques (MIP, SSD, volume rendering)
- Conduct scans of abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, carotid, cervical, lumbar, sinuses, soft tissue neck, thoracic, trauma head, and vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
- Perform colorectal studies (rectal contrast), enterography studies, intravenous pyelograms
- Prepare and administer contrast media
- Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
- Ensure radiation safety and perform region of interest measurements (ROI)
- Work with patient age groups: neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Work independently and potentially float to other campuses
Requirements
- ARRT-CT certification (required)
- ARRT-R certification
- BLS certification
- Oregon state license
- 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- EPIC experience (required)
- First-time travelers accepted
- Ability to provide proof of address for submission
- No employment gaps greater than 30 days within the required 7-year work history
- Two professional references from positions held within the past year (at least one from a manager)
Pay
- Base bill rate: $95/hour
- Overtime: $40/hour (for total hours over 40 in one week)
- Charge nurse differential: $5/hour
- On-call rate: $10/hour
- Call-back rate: $9.50/hour
- Holiday rate: $9.50/hour
- Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
- Pay package based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined)
