Travel CT Technologist - $2,729 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Reedley, California. This position requires 40 hours per week on an 8-hour night shift and is classified as a travel role.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans to ensure good technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
