About the role
This travel position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), Thursday through Saturday. The role includes an on-call requirement of 2 shifts per month, with possible weekend and holiday shifts. The estimated gross weekly pay is $2,729.44.
Responsibilities
- Perform general CT imaging studies, averaging 20-30 scans per day in an acute care setting
- Operate department equipment, including 2 GE scanners (GE Optima 660 and GE Revolution Maxima) and 1 Siemens scanner (Siemens Edge Plus)
- Use EPIC charting system and Fuji Synapse PACS for imaging management
- Start IVs as part of job duties
- Adhere to department-specific orientation requirements, including in-state attendance for orientation week
- Provide own radiation badge
- Follow dress code: navy blue tops and black pants (scrubs not provided)
Requirements
- Must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
- Valid driver’s license required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (R), ARRT (CT)
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Facility Details
This acute care facility’s radiology department is equipped with three CT scanners (two GE systems and one Siemens system) and supports inpatient, outpatient, and emergency imaging needs. The department is overseen by a coordinator and manager and uses EPIC and Fuji Synapse for charting and imaging. The facility allows up to 4 shift cancellations per 13-week assignment.
