Travel CT Technologist - $2,696 per week

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Albany, New York, working 36 hours per week on 13‑hour night shifts at the Albany Memorial Campus CT department.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans independently for ER patients, covering all routine exams (excluding virtual colon and cardiac studies).
• Work the midnight shift (10 p.m.–7 a.m.) alone, with an imaging aide available for patient transport and positioning.
• Operate Siemens Definition ASEMR CT scanner using Epic PACS and Visage systems.
• Adhere to holiday/weekend requirements, with Christmas preferred.

Requirements

• ARRT certification.
• New York State license.
• New York State license to inject.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
• Ability to scan independently and be fully competent in performing CT scans for ER patients.

Skills

• Proficiency with Siemens Definition ASEMR scanner.
• Experience with Epic PACS and Visage imaging platforms.
• Strong patient care and communication skills for the ER environment.
• Ability to work autonomously during night shifts.

Schedule

• 13‑week travel assignment.
• 36 hours per week, scheduled as 13‑hour night shifts.
• Typical shift hours: 6 p.m. – 7 a.m., Monday through Wednesday.
• Midnight technologist works alone from 10 p.m. – 7 a.m. with imaging aide support.
• Holiday/weekend work expected; Christmas preferred.
