Department: CT Tech -PEN General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT (CT) How many scanners/rooms does this department have 3 scanners / 3 rooms Will they have to float/cover any other areas No Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties All basic CT exams. CCTAs and TAVR optional Experience or 'Must have' skills TeraRecon 3D workstation familiarity preferred. Training will be provided. Average # of scans/studies per day ~100 per 24 hours EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC EMR and Fuji PACS (Synapse) Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) All GE. GE Revolution 256, GE Revolution EVO, GE HD 750. Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Staffed with CT Lead Tech Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants) No RRA's but have after hours Rad tech assistants to help with transport and covering hospital calls directed to imaging. Radiologist in-house Varies from in-house and remote Do they have to start IV's (if applicable to the department) Yes Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling) If referring to staff...no. For outpatient scheduling we operate with block times. Weekend Requirements Voluntary if needed. Holiday Requirements Yes if holiday aligns with assigned shift Call or Standby requirement Response time Voluntary but preferred. 30-45 minutes response time Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided Scrubs not provided. Solid color scrubs required. Department specific orientation Yes. Occurs during 1st full week of orientation.
