Travel CT Technologist - $2,594 per week

About the role

Travel position in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 40 hours per week, 10-hour night shifts (Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM). Employment type: Travel. Radius: 60 miles; valid driver's license required. Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote. Agency must provide a radiology badge for the traveler.

Responsibilities

• Perform all basic CT exams, including optional CCTAs and TAVR studies
• Start IVs as required by the department
• Operate TeraRecon 3D workstation (training provided)
• Use EPIC EMR and Fuji PACS (Synapse)
• Adhere to department-specific equipment protocols (all GE: Revolution 256, Revolution EVO, HD 750)
• Voluntary weekend and holiday shifts if needed (holidays align with assigned shift)
• Voluntary call/standby with 30-45 minute response time

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Familiarity with TeraRecon 3D workstation preferred
• Solid color scrubs (not provided)
• Department-specific orientation during the first full week

Department details

• 3 scanners / 3 rooms
• No floating to other areas
• Average of ~100 scans/studies per 24 hours
• Radiologists vary between in-house and remote
• No RRA’s, but after-hours rad tech assistants available for transport and hospital calls
• CT Lead Tech on staff
• Block scheduling for outpatient; no self-scheduling for staff
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks)
