About the role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Twin Falls, Idaho. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while working 40 hours per week on an evening shift (8 hours).
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately
- Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
- Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

- Proficiency in reading/comprehending written instructions, following verbal instructions, and PC skills
- Physical abilities: Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal skills: Must work effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Technical/motor skills: Ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental requirements: Ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure; work under close supervision occasionally or without assistance; contend with irregular activity schedules and continuous concentration to detail
- Sensory: Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
