Travel CT Technologist - $2,470 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care teaching hospital, requiring ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications and prior travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of CT procedures including head, neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular CTA studies
• Special procedures may include brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, colonography, aspirations, biopsies, and drainage
• Image processing tasks include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurements
• May be required to float to a nearby outpatient clinic location approximately half a mile from the main hospital
• Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract on a rotating basis with staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted, as Virginia will grant emergency authorization while a permanent VA license processes — license required if applicable
• Proficiency in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Radiation safety knowledge required
• Siemens and Epic experience required
• Must provide a copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card for consideration
• Two references required for consideration

Qualifications

• Candidates must live outside the facility's radius restriction — locals are not accepted

• Epic EMR experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required

Benefits

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
