Responsibilities

• Work in the CT Scanner department providing diagnostic CT exams for inpatients and outpatients
• Perform CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Operate Canon Prime SP80 and Toshiba Aquilion CT systems, Carestream and GE x-ray and portable units, and Philips and GE C-arms
• Use Medhost EMR system
• Provide timely, accurate diagnostic CT examinations under departmental protocols and physician direction
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning with and without contrast media and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARRT CT certification required
• CT and X-ray experience required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with ARRT
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
• New Mexico license required if applicable
• Active, unexpired certifications required with none expiring within first 30 days of start
• Any scrub color accepted
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Schedule

• Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday
• Call required: 4 days per month
• No floating required

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
