About the Role
As a Travel CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. You will prepare and position patients, ensure proper imaging protocols, collaborate with radiologists, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
- Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
- Provide high-quality images to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ARRT Certification (preferred).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.

Schedule
- Duration: 24 weeks.
- 36 hours per week.
- Shift: 12 hours, nights.
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
