About the role
A CT scan technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain patient history and medical records
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
- Position patients appropriately for imaging
- Administer contrast materials as directed
- Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions
- Document procedures and results
Requirements
- Current state license as a CT technologist
- Experience in acute care setting preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
