Travel CT Technologist - $2,400 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. This role requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and night work. The ideal candidate must have one year of experience as a CT Technologist, hold a BLS certification, and be ARRT (CT) certified.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scans
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• One year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• State-specific licensing if required
• A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS certification

• Two years of experience (additional certifications may be required)

Pay
