About the role

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Bridgeton, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

  • Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for the procedure, position patients with considerations for safety and image accuracy.
  • Ensure proper imaging protocols are followed and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
  • Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital's system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
  • Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

Requirements

  • One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
  • Current ARRT Certification (preferred).

Qualifications

Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend.

Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism.

Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.

Must be able to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.

Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate.
