Travel CT Technologist - $2,282 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 152-bed acute care Magnet hospital serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CT arthrography, myelography, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Use primary equipment such as GE and Toshiba, with preference for Cerner charting and PACS experience.
• Work 3x12-hour day shifts on Thursdays through Saturdays, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• On-call responsibilities are required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required; license required if applicable.
• Proficiency with IV starts and contrast administration.
• Experience in trauma, ED, inpatient, outpatient, and interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
• Acute care hospital experience required.
• Level I trauma experience strongly preferred.
• NICU and PICU experience preferred.
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years.
• Full seven-year work history with all gaps explained.

Qualifications

• Cultural sensitivity to the Alaska Native population is essential due to the community served.
• Residents within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position.

Skills

• IV starts and contrast administration.
• Charting in Cerner.
• PACS experience.

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

Shifts are 3x12-hour days, Thursday through Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
