About the role
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed for a healthcare provider located in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves performing various CT procedures in a high-acuity hospital setting. The position requires a dedicated professional proficient in CT imaging with a focus on patient care and effective communication with staff and providers.
Schedule
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities
The unit is equipped with new GE 512, 12, and 64 Slice CT scanners, with additional scanners arriving in Summer 2024. Patients include trauma cases, stroke, and abdominal/pelvic studies. The facility offers a supportive environment with 24/7 radiology support, transporters, high staff experience, and a reputation for excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of current CT Technology experience, preferably in an acute care environment
- ARRT (R) certification or equivalent
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Stroke experience
- Cardiac imaging skills
- AIDET patient experience
