Travel CT Technologist - $2,192 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience
• Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required
• Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• BLS, ARRT (CT)
• KY state license
• 2 Years experience

• Acute setting Xray and CT patients, including ED and ICU patients
• Number of Beds: 298
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: Siemens Edge and Siemens Definition AS
• EMR: Cerner
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Venipuncture
• Type of Patients on Unit: Mixed-OP, IP, ED, ICU

Skills

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• Ability to work in an acute care setting with X-ray and CT patients, including ED and ICU patients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with long shifts
• Ability to follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Proficiency with computerized tomography equipment and the McKesson PACS system
