Travel CT Technologist - $2,182 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Performs ED and inpatient CT exams only, following a compassionate care model
• Average of 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners (GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32-slice)
• Staffing of 2 techs per scanner during the day; 3 techs total on overnight shifts
• Performs procedures including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremity, and CTA studies
• Documents using Meditech
• Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (3x12-hour day shifts)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience, with at least 1 year in a Level I Trauma setting
• Must have active experience in the role within the last 6 months
• ARRT (Radiography) required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• Ability to independently operate GE CT equipment
• Ability to perform routine CT exams for all ED and inpatient types

Qualifications

• US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no exceptions; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• Licenses required if applicable

Skills

• CT experience
• Level I Trauma experience
• ARRT (Radiography) certification
• ARRT (CT) certification (preferred)
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment
