Travel CT Technologist - $2,025 per week

About the role

PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and preparation for scans.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment according to manufacturer’s guidelines and hospital policies.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret images and provide necessary reports.

Requirements

• Current state certification as a CT Technologist.
• Experience with CT scanning techniques and protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited CT technologist program.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a clinical setting.

Skills

• Proficiency with CT equipment and software.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
