Travel CT Technologist - $1,876 per week

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract position at a partnering hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Specialty: CT Technologist; Discipline: Allied Health Professional. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend). Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine technical quality

Requirements

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols
