Responsibilities
- Review Physician Orders and reasons for exams.
- Prepare and position patients for CT imaging.
- Perform CT imaging in accordance with department protocols, collaborating with CT leadership and Radiologists to produce diagnostic images.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment while adhering to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.
- Collaborate with unit members and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and families.
- Fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher required.
- Eighteen (18) months of CT experience.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association only).
- Valid State of Oregon permit-to-practice.
- Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations.
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
Pay
Gross weekly rate: $3,160. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 4x10-hour shifts
- Shift: Nights
- Start Date: As soon as possible
