About the role

FirstChoice – Trinity Health's internal resource pool – offers flexible scheduling, local and travel opportunities, and premium compensation for CT Techs. This program is designed for candidates who desire variety in practice settings, increased pay scales, and the ability to stay local or travel throughout the country while working within one of the largest Catholic health systems.

Responsibilities

• Review Physician Orders and reasons for exams.
• Prepare and position patients for CT imaging.
• Perform CT imaging in accordance with department protocols, collaborating with CT leadership and Radiologists to produce diagnostic images.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment while adhering to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.
• Collaborate with unit members and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and families.
• Fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system.
• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Eighteen (18) months of CT experience required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association only).
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Pay

Gross Weekly Rate: $2,700

Schedule

• 3x12-hour shifts (Days).
• 13-week assignments.
• Start date: ASAP.
