About the role

Travel CT Technologist position in Centralia, Washington. 40 hours per week, 10-hour night shifts (20:30–07:00, Sunday–Wednesday). First-time travelers accepted. Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible. Pending Washington license accepted. On-call is optional; travelers may sign up for call shifts if desired.

Night shift primarily serves emergency department and inpatient floors, handling exams from newborn X-rays to trauma patients. Minimum of two technologists on duty each night. Must also perform X-ray procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans and X-ray procedures, including:
    • Extremities
    • Abdomen/GI
    • Spine/Pelvis
    • Head
    • Chest/Thorax
    • Musculoskeletal
    • Lower Extremities
    • Upper Extremities
  • Operate PACS and prepare/administer contrast media
  • Care for patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
  • Handle acute care, emergency department, and pediatric cases

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience (acute care, ER, peds preferred)
  • Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), Washington state license (pending accepted)
  • Skills:
    • Abdomen with/without contrast
    • Adult acute care and outpatient
    • Carotid, cervical, chest with/without contrast
    • Colorectal studies (rectal contrast)
    • Coronary CTA, enterography study
    • Head with/without contrast, heart (calcium scoring, coronary angiography)
    • Intravenous pyelogram, lumbar
    • Musculoskeletal trauma
    • Pediatric acute care
    • Pelvis with/without contrast
    • Sinuses, soft tissue neck, thoracic
    • Trauma head, vascular chest (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
    • X-ray
  • Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years (can include charge RNs/leads)
  • Completion of non-billable modules (average 16 hours) pre-start and annually
