Travel CT Tech - $2,879 per week

Travel assignment for a CT Technologist in Lafayette, Colorado.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract in an acute-care hospital CT department. The position offers a 3-day work week (Monday–Wednesday, 12-hour evening shifts) with exposure to contrast studies and complex imaging protocols in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures using ionizing radiation
• Ensure accurate patient identification, order verification, and preparation
• Conduct scans per department protocols and physician orders
• Evaluate images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic accuracy
• Administer contrast media safely under supervision
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety (ALARA) standards
• Educate patients and ensure comfort throughout procedures
• Document procedures, patient data, and any incidents accurately
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain infection control and sterile techniques

Requirements

• ARRT (R) (CT) Certification – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• Active State License (if applicable)
• 1–2 years of CT experience (acute care preferred)
• Strong knowledge of sectional anatomy, CT protocols, and positioning
• Experience with contrast administration and injector systems

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• On-Call: Rotating call required
• Holidays: Assigned as needed
