The department provides 24/7 staffing, ensuring high-quality care with a collaborative team environment. Unit Overview Bed Capacity: 750 Beds Trauma Level: Level 1 Primary Stroke Center: Yes Typical Daily Scans: Approximately 130 CT scans Staffing Structure: Dayshift: 1 Lead Tech + 3 Techs (split shift 9a-9p) Nights: 1 Tech (7p-7a, striving for 2) Equipment and Technology Number of Scanners: 4 GE scanners (64 slice and above) PACS System: FUJI Synapse EMR System: Meditech Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: Required Skills: Minimum of 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience ARRT (R) certification Current BLS certification Active Kansas licensure Preferred Skills: Experience with GE scanners Prior experience with Meditech EMR Common Procedures Typical procedures performed in the CT department include: CTA chest, neck, and abdomen CTA Cardiac studies (Structurally supporting Heart program) CT Head Stroke protocol Ideal Candidate Profile The best candidates for this role will exhibit the following traits: Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments Dependability and punctuality Dressing Code All staff members are required to wear black scrubs (not provided).
