About the role
The primary responsibility is to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans under supervision, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort.
- Operate CT equipment, adjust settings, and monitor images for clarity and quality.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records according to hospital policies.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide necessary follow-up care.
Requirements
- Current state-issued license as a CT technologist.
- Experience in performing CT scans in a clinical setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Basic computer skills to operate medical imaging software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of an accredited CT technologist program.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and colleagues.
