Travel CT Tech - $2,594 per week

About the role

The primary responsibility is to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans under supervision, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort.
• Operate CT equipment, adjust settings, and monitor images for clarity and quality.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records according to hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide necessary follow-up care.

Requirements

• Current state-issued license as a CT technologist.
• Experience in performing CT scans in a clinical setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Basic computer skills to operate medical imaging software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited CT technologist program.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CT equipment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and colleagues.
