Travel CT Tech - $2,594 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience to work at a short-term acute care hospital with 180 staffed beds. The CT Tech unit supports adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients with an average daily caseload of 65–75 cases. The facility uses Epic for charting and is equipped with Siemens and Philips CT systems with PACS.

Schedule

• Day shift, 3×12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
• Working Friday, Saturday, and Monday
• 36 hours per week
• On-call requirement: 2–4 call shifts per month
• Holiday coverage required: 12/24/2026 (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM) or 12/25/2026 (8:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• No floating within scope or to sister facilities required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS, ARRT‑CT, and ARRT‑R certifications required (state license required if applicable)
• Community hospital experience required; teaching hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required; first‑time travelers not accepted

Skills

• Proficiency in abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head/neck CT imaging with and without contrast
• Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging (cervical, lumbar, thoracic regions)
• Skilled in special procedures such as biopsies, brain perfusion, and vascular CTA (preferred)
• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and image post‑processing
• Proficiency in peripheral IV starts and contrast media preparation/administration
• Siemens and Philips CT equipment experience required

Pay
