Travel CT Tech - $2,575 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Paterson, New Jersey. The position requires 36 hours per week on 13‑hour day shifts, starting November 3, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs and tissue.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as needed.
• Set equipment controls, monitor equipment and patient, make adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs and inject contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in exposure sequence and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient‑focused, timely, compassionate and high quality.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• State licensure as required (most states require licensure).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

• 13‑hour day shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
