Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Las Cruces, NM, requiring ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• CT Scan department within a 199-bed acute care hospital on the main campus
• Covers inpatient, ER, outpatient, and IR procedure exams
• Procedures include all CT exams, including CTA hearts and Calcium Scoring
• Equipment includes GE 64-slice and 512-slice CT scanners
• EMR/documentation system: Meditech; PACS: Change Healthcare
• Evening shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• No floating requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Current BLS (AHA) required
• Active NM State License in Radiography and CT required — license required if applicable
• Must be able to work independently as needed
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform all CT exams including CTA hearts and Calcium Scoring across inpatient, ER, outpatient, and IR settings
• Cardiac CT experience is a plus
• Joint Commission Accredited facility; also recognized as a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
• All clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while awaiting results but must be supervised during that time
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for this position
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable
