Travel CT Tech - $2,371 per week

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a fast-paced freestanding emergency department (FSED) radiology unit in Austin, TX.

About the Role

• Position is based in an imaging services department within a freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting
• High-acuity environment with stroke and trauma cases requiring rapid response and advanced scanning skills
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12hrs (36 hours per week)
• Rotating weekend coverage required
• No call required
• Team structure includes 3 staff on per night shift in CT/Radiology
• 13-week contract starting August 10, 2026
• Scrub dress code: olive top, black pants
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume and wide variety of CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience; allied candidates must have active experience within the last 6 months
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active Texas Medical Board (TMB) registration required
• CT certification required
• Active BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Stroke and trauma imaging experience required
• One professional reference required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
