About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 30, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification
- Review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
- Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
- Position patients for CT scanning
- Capture diagnostic images using computed tomography equipment
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification
- State-specific licensing (if required)
- Adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Qualifications
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
- Must be able to bend, lean, or stoop easily
Skills
- Knowledge of computed tomography equipment
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good communication skills
