Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients using immobilization and protective equipment as needed.
• Set and adjust equipment controls, monitor equipment and patient status.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence, and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform clerical functions as required.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment that provides timely, compassionate care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment, adhering to national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of experience as a CT Technologist in a health‑care setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• Licensure in most states (as required).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Compensation is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include gross hourly wages plus reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing.
