Travel CT Tech - $2,235 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate 13‑week assignment in Plano, Texas. The position requires 1 year of experience and involves operating CT equipment to capture diagnostic images, preparing and caring for patients, administering radiocontrast agents, evaluating scan quality, following radiation safety procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and using the McKesson PACS system. Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
• State‑specific licensing where required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Schedule

13‑week travel assignment; 36 hours per week; 12‑hour day shifts.
