HCS 247 is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bronx, New York. The position starts on September 21, 2026, and requires a 9-hour day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) for 40 hours per week. This is a travel contract with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and minimizing motion artifacts.
• Maintain and operate CT imaging equipment, including calibration and quality assurance checks.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Document patient information, scan details, and technical parameters in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

Requirements

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Active state license to practice in New York.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in CT imaging techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
