About the role
PRIDE Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the care of patients recovering from anesthesia
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Jersey
- Experience in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) preferred
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
