Travel Clinical Therapist - $1,844 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a corrections facility in Jarratt, Virginia.

About the role

This is a travel assignment within a prison setting, specifically on a residential mental-health unit. The contract runs for 26 weeks with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite counseling services to individuals in a correctional residential mental-health unit.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner to support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with the onsite care team to address complex mental-health needs.
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in interviews as needed and communicate availability for scheduling.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
• Minimum one year of experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
• Local or travel candidates welcome.

Schedule

• 8-hour day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• 40 hours per week for 26 weeks.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $1,765.00 – $1,853.25 (based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week).
