Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)

Responsibilities

• Carry out and oversee complex laboratory tests in various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking.
• Maintain accuracy of test results, manage quality control measures, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as CLIA, CAP, and AABB.
• Create and implement lab policies, supervise laboratory staff, resolve discrepancies, interpret test results, and communicate critical findings to healthcare professionals.
• Participate in internal and external audits, maintain accurate records, and provide training to new personnel.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year recent CLS experience.
• Valid laboratory technician license.
• PREFERRED: Certifications such as ASCP MLS, BLS.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, technical skills, physical dexterity, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and adherence to safety protocols.
