The ideal candidate will have extensive neonatal experience and possess a diverse range of skills due to the varying population we serve. The position includes working 3x12 hour night shifts. Shifts and Scheduling Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Weekends: 2 weekends on and 1 weekend off Responsibilities The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care, which includes: Assessing and monitoring patients' respiratory conditions Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures Collaborating with medical staff and providing patient education Providing care in various settings, including the ER, inpatient floors, and ICU Utilizing skills in Pulmonary Rehab and PFT as needed Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting Neonatal experience is required Certifications/Licenses: RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP Must be able to work in various units including ER, floors, and ICU Traveler's primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility. First-time travelers will not be accepted. Skills and Competencies The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in a wide variety of skills to effectively serve our diverse patient population. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
