Location: Brownwood, TX 76801. Travel assignment, 13 weeks, starting 11/16/2026. 36 hours per week. Job ID: #3513627.
Schedule
- Nights, 3×12‑hour shifts (6:00 PM–6:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- 2 years of service‑line experience required for submission
- Some experience working with neonates
- CRT or RRT accepted
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, CRT/RRT
- Sunrise charting experience required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- License in hand required at submission
- Certification verification required
- Experience with adult critical care, emergency department, NICU, and pediatric respiratory care
- Strong skills in ventilator management, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, airway management, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Deliver care in adult critical care, emergency department, NICU, and pediatric critical care settings
- Perform airway management, intubation assistance, extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
- Manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, high‑flow nasal cannula (HFNC), and other respiratory equipment
- Draw and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Administer respiratory medications and aerosol treatments
- Perform oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary hygiene, and chest physiotherapy
- Assist with high‑risk deliveries and neonatal/pediatric respiratory procedures
- Care for patients with conditions such as ARDS, aspiration, respiratory distress, RSV, cystic fibrosis, and other pulmonary conditions
