About the role

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 14-week assignment starting September 21, 2026, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in providing therapeutic activities to patients.
• Help patients engage in daily living activities and improve functional skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Experience working in an occupational therapy setting preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Benefits
