Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our collaborative rehabilitation team in Salinas, California. - Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADL performance, functional mobility, upper extremity function, cognition, safety awareness, and overall independence.
- Accurately document treatments using electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on adaptive equipment, home safety, and functional strategies.
- Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, and facility documentation standards.
- Participate in care conferences and team meetings as appropriate.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current California COTA license (or eligibility).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude with a passion for patient-centered care.

Pay & Benefits
The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
