Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a position in Sandy Spring, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their daily living skills.
• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to promote recovery and independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to perform physical tasks as required.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 8 hours, days, with a start date as soon as possible and a duration of 13 weeks.
