Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a contract assignment in South Bend, Indiana.

About the role

A great SNF / LTC facility is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their team for a 13-week contract assignment. This position involves assisting patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises as part of a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist.

• Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers with regard to age, level of understanding, and emotional status.
• Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient progress.
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school or a certificate from a community, technical, or vocational college.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
