Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week travel contract in Yuma, Arizona, starting October 12, 2026. The position requires 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts) in a hospital setting. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. You can choose from a variety of career options including direct hire, temp‑to‑hire, and travel contracts using ProVenture, the company’s AI‑enhanced career app for therapy professionals.
Location highlights: Yuma offers direct access to outdoor landmarks and cross‑border culture in southwestern Arizona. Gateway Park sits along the Colorado River in central Yuma, and the Yuma East Wetlands provide walking trails and wildlife viewing within a short drive of downtown. Historic Downtown Yuma includes the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park and the Century House Museum, while the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area is about 30 miles west for off‑road adventure. The city also offers access to Martinez Lake and the Colorado River for boating and fishing, and Phoenix is roughly a 3‑hour drive for additional urban amenities and air travel connections.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active state license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
- Current AZ COTA license required to start
- CPR (Basic) required to start
- Completed orientation documents required to start
