About the role
The client is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their growing team. The position involves working under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to implement patient treatment plans, assist clients in engaging in therapeutic activities, and monitor their progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments
- Auxiliary in implementing treatment plans
- Monitor client progress towards rehabilitation goals
- Support clients in therapeutic activities
- Document patient progress
- Work in various therapeutic settings such as clinics, hospitals, and schools
Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited program
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities

Pay & Schedule
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
