About the Role
Our client is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their growing team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to implement patient treatment plans, assist clients in engaging in therapeutic activities, and monitor their progress toward rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Implement patient treatment plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists
- Assist clients in engaging in therapeutic activities
- Monitor patient progress toward rehabilitation goals
- Conduct patient assessments
- Document patient progress
- Provide support in various therapeutic settings, such as clinics, hospitals, and schools
Qualifications
- Certification from accredited program
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
Pay & Schedule
Location: Fairmont, West Virginia. Duration: 13 Weeks. Start Date: 08/31/2026. Shift: 5x8 Days, 40 hours per week.
